Pitch Perfect, "Cups"

Okay i found this song the other day.. i absolutely LOVE  IT !!  It should be on the radio, it might be  i just haven't heard it yet.

I think people read too deeply into this song...

I think it is about someone who has been taken for granted, and they want to escape. The song is about how they will be missed once they are gone, and that the people who have taken them for granted will realise that they actually need them.I think that the 'someone' in this song is trying to spike jealousy in those who have taken them for granted, as they talk about the 'views', but then tease them by saying 'it sure would be prettier with you'
